Quality certifications ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is a certification of a Quality Management System, namely a series of voluntary rules that the company chooses to follow to ensure that its products comply with certain specifications and that this compliance is maintained over time with a view to achieving the shared goal of continuously improving products and production processes.
PRIMA Industries has been certified ISO 9001 since 1998 and in 2016 it obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification after passing the TÜV Thüringen audit.

ISO 14001 Environmental Certification

ISO 14001:2015 is the Environmental Management standard and is internationally recognised. Prima Industries chose to pursue compliance in order to respond to the planet’s ecological challenges and to achieve a more effective, joined-up approach to dealing with environmental impact issues.
In July 2016, Prima Industries obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification after passing the TÜV Thüringen audit.

ISO 45001:2018 Health and Safety Certification

ISO 45001:2018 replaces the previous BS OHSAS 18001 (it will expire on 12 March 2021) with the aim of providing the standard with international regulatory recognition (ISO) for the management of Workers' Health and Safety and to facilitate integration with other ISO standards.
The certification identifies an international standard for the management of the Health and Safety of Workers.
ISO 45001 certification proves the voluntary application of a system which guarantees adequate control over these issues and compliance with mandatory standards.
In July 2016 Prima Industries obtained the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certification and in 2019 it obtained the ISO 45001:2018 certification passing, in both cases, the TÜV Thüringen audit.

Approved Exporter Status

In 2013 the Italian Customs Authority granted the company authorisation as an Approved Exporter for the following countries: Israel, South Africa, Egypt, Serbia, Macedonia, Tunisia, Colombia, Norway, Switzerland, Mexico and South Korea.
The Approved Exporter Status is an authorization issued by the Customs Authority that allows any economic operator to give proof of the preferential origin of the goods exported directly using the invoice declaration and without any limitationin the amount.
The invoice declaration submitted by the Approved Exporter substitutes the issuance of the EUR 1 movement certificate for the exports towards Countries that have a trade agreement with the EU.
